| Robbie Spencer |
Robbie spent many years in the prison service as a Home Office Nursing Officer. During his time there he regularly held training courses for Prison Service staff. Since leaving the Prison Service he has spent the last ten years running his own training business as well as becoming a qualified relationship counsellor, gaining a Graduate certificate in relationship counselling through the University of East London. He believes that his counselling work helps him to promote a person centred approach to his training programmes. His real passion is in helping those who work with young and vulnerable people to gain an understanding of anger as a process, so that they can grow and change the negative and often destructive patterns of the behaviour. He has worked extensively with Connexions advisors in schools throughout Norfolk. The young people’s anger programmes have taken four years to develop and are based upon a real belief that people of any age can change and make the choice to do things differently. Robbie runs our drug and alcohol awareness programmes, lone working, conflict resolution and behaviour management training (young people).
